We all want to know God and His Word better. We don’t want misconceptions about Truth. Thankfully, God not only gives us the desire to study, but He also gives us other people and resources to help us grow in our knowledge and understanding of Him and His Word
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT
The King James translation puts it this way:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
